The return trip to Santa Maria will be the final destination / termination point for this ride.

This ride will depart from Pappy's at 8:00 am and we will head north on Hwy 101. We will make a stop in Arroyo Grande at the K-Mart parking lot before proceeding on with the ride. We will make a fuel and take a break either before San Miguel or in San Miguel depending on how everyone is on gas. In either case we will need to fill up in this area to make the push into Coalinga. We will continue to head on north on Hwy. 101 past several vineyards and some nice rolling hills until our exit onto Hwy 198 east in the San Lucas area. Highway 198 is a very scenic ride with lots of turns, mountains, meadows, and canyons and only a short patch of rough road as we near Coalinga. Once in Coalinga we will fuel up before heading to Me-n-Ed's Pizzeria for lunch. From Coalinga we will take Hwy. 33 south with lots of long straight highway until we come up on Hwy. 41/46 and we will turn west and head into El Paso de Robles with a stop at a rest stop near Shandon before going on to Hwy 101 and make our way back to the Santa Maria area.

The return trip to Santa Maria will be the final destination / termination point for this ride. This is a good haul for you diehard's and if the weather cooperates...it should be a great day to ride! Hope to see you there.
