Last to rides :::
Submitted by dpollard on Sun, 06/13/2010 - 9:49pmWE are so fortunate to have great places to ride and so many friends to ride with. Thank you Tim for POC the hotel and Jeff for leading a wonderful Saturday loop. Ventura HOG chapter and I even found a friend I hadn't seen since 1985. Peter worked as a Arson Inventigator for Ventura County Fire Protection District at the same time I was a payroll/Accounting Tech for Headquarters. We saw each other daily until I left the dept. Is so nice to come back around to those friendships and now you have more in common with the Harleys.

pre ride/ drive to east pinnacels
Submitted by Debbie on Mon, 05/10/2010 - 7:00pmon Saturday May 8th, Bill , Clayton (one of our grandsons) and I took a PRE-drive up to the East Pinnacles National Monument. What a great time. The drive was good, Hwy 25 has lots of sweeping turns and there is a lot to see...so we went fairly slow not to miss the country side. once in the pinnacles we discovered many others having the same idea, so parking may be a problem but they have a shuttle up to Bear Gulch if we choose or we'll have to park at least 4 to 6 bikes to a parking space. first we had our picnic lunch and then enjoyed the hike up moss spring trail and into the caves.

Antelope Valley Poppy Ride
Submitted by harleyguyn805 on Sat, 04/17/2010 - 8:39pmFor those who slept in they missed a great ride. We had a total of four riders, Tim, Bruce, Lori, and my wife Bobbi with me. Saw some beautiful country along the back roads going to and coming back. Poppy fields were more than we expected, the crowds were so large we could not get into the Poppy reserve. But since there were Poppies everywhere we stopped at a great location along the road and took some great pictures. Had a great lunch at the Rock Store. The ride ended up being approx. 310 miles and worth it.

Everybody
Submitted by Bob on Wed, 01/27/2010 - 1:19pmHey Everybody, I just wanted to put up a line or two telling everyone how much I appreciate them for any and all help. We've started off the New Year with a group ride led by Moe, and a humdinger of a holiday party with help from the LOH ladies and guys too. Getting the wet stuff out of the way for awhile should let us get our back sides warmed-up or cooled down, your flip of the coin. Hopefully we'll have enough fun to distract us so that we won't care who's in the White House.
